Luperon Beach in Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is an appealing vacation destination. Travelers flock to it throughout the year because it is filled with miles of beautiful beaches and sports balmy temperatures year round. There are also many beachside resorts to choose from. In fact, there are so many beautiful beaches that it may be tough to decide which one you should visit. However, with a bit of research you will find that Luperon Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the Dominican Republic.

Luperon Beach is actually located just west of Puerta Plata on the northwestern coast of the island. This beach is beautifully lined with picturesque palm trees, and it is filled with sparkling white sand. In fact, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. This is partially because of how perfectly the setting seems to flow together.

One of the best things about this beach is that it is perfect for visitors of different ages and tastes. While many of the beaches in the Dominican Republic are very busy, the Luperon Beach is a bit more secluded. This makes it perfect for visitors who want to find a little peace and quiet on their tropical getaway.

However, just because Luperon Beach in Dominican Republic is a bit quieter does not mean that there are not activities nearby. The wonderful thing about Luperno Beach is that not far from the calm and quiet sands lies the community of Puerta Plata that features many different activities. In fact only about fifteen miles away you will find historical sites like Sosua, the Iglesia San Felipe church, and the Mt. Isabel del Torres. While you may enjoy spending a lot of time at the beach it is often a good idea to take a day to do some sightseeing so that you can get out of the suns rays and take a break from the salty water.

Additionally, vacationers need to eat. Unfortunately there is not really food located directly on the beach, but if you are willing and able to venture off the sand there are many restaurants near Luperon Beach.

Closest to the beach are the Hemingway Cafe which is an easy pub and the La Parrillade Steak House. Further down the road you can enjoy the Restaurant La Carreta which is a local seafood restaurant, the French restaurant Morua Mai, or the Kite Surf Camp for an American dinner experience. Of course do not forget to check out some of the local eateries and roadside stands. Often those are the places where you are going to get the best food in the area.

The Dominican Republic is filled with hidden jewels, and the Luperon  Beach area is no exception. Here you can take in some of the most luxurious beachside landscapes, stunning historical sights, and tasty food on the island.
